Ora-resignation!!!

Today finally I put my papers!! Frankly speaking, I am scared... Oracle was a good opportunity for me. Having worked in Siebel, I got expossure to one of the best CRM products. Sometimes I feel that I little more Siebel expossure would have worked wonders for me.
But as they say, Life is a blend of the choices that we make. And finally I chose to opt out.... Nevertheless I am happy for the six months that I spent with Oracle. I think that this experience will be pivotal for me in pursuing my MS degree in Management Information Systems. Hopefully I have taken the right decision.... or lets say that I'll make this decision right!!!

WE - The World Champs!!! :)

What a match!!! Simply a Roller-Coaster ride!!! That last six just pierced me like a dagger!!! But what a commendable victory it was! I must confess I haven't experienced such a breath-taking Cricket match off late. This match was very special in more ways than one...
1. First it was the final of a World-Cup
2. Second it was against Pakistan so it had to be special
3. It brought out the capabilities of Dhoni as an All-Round and a much deserving Captain of the Indian Cricket Team
4. It featured the first Indian Brothers' duo in Cricket, Irfaan and Yusuf Pathan
5. It proved that our boys are very well capable of pulling it out even in the absence of the champion trio of the team. Kudos to them!!!

All said and done, the match was a pure fun to watch. Not for a single moment did we lose the excitement of the anticipation of the outcome!!! An evening well-spent after soooo many boring ones indeed!!! Hopefully we get to see such good Cricket all the way...

Back to life!!! :)

After about a week of illness... Here I am! This is me! :)
Feels good to be back on board. Though I was welcome with a number of escalations in my tray... But never mind! A fresh start this, I am sure the day will go as smooth as butter!!! :)

Thinking about it... I think this was for the first time in my two-and-a-half-year-career that I was on a week-long sick-leave! Phew!!! After all it takes something to fall ill!!! ;) And I really hope that I dont achieve this feat ever again!!

Reliance Saga...

Continuing with my Reliance saga...

Finally I submitted my address proof yet again to a nearby Reliance Web-World...
I have also requested them earnestly to do the needful at least this time around. I am keeping my fingers crossed now. Hopefully it should be done.

The only reason why I have I stuck to Reliance inspite of this predicament is that it is a lot cheaper for me since most of my contacts use Reliance connection...

Unreliable Reliance...

Again they are troubling me...
Today I received a call from Reliance that my address is not updated in their system. Inspite of the fact that I am in Hyderabad since last 4 months, their system shows my Bangalore address!
Going into the crux of it all... such goes my torture-story...
When I shifted from Bangalore to Mumbai... I had requested for address change. but that never got through even after me submitting the relevant documents twice!!! Instead my connection was suspended and to top it all I was told that I had some problem in my mobile instrument and that the reliance connection is fine. After that I got my mobile phone repaired from numerous Nokia centres. Still the Reliance people wont budge. The phone remained unused for full five months!

Meanwhile I got transferred to Hyderabad. Here as well I submitted the relevant documents for getting my address changed. But fate had it that i had to face the same malady here... Finally I terminated my old connection and got a fresh connection on my same mobile instrument. This time it worked fine. Now it was my turn to give them some good reprimanding; coz it was not my phone but it was their connection that was faulty.... Now I was happy my phone was working again. All's well that ends well!!!!

But again ALAS... today I received a call from Reliance that my address is not updated in their system and that they have my Bangalore address on record. Now I have to submit my documents again... But still I am very sure that the problem will not be solved... One full circle completed and the second started....
