Hey Babyy!!!

I must say that Saajid Khan's Baby proved out to be a little more than an entertainer!!! Got a chance to see the movie over the weekend!!! Mind you... it has some really rib-tickling scenes!!! Akshay Kumar, Rietesh Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan are their usual boisterous selves while Vidya Balan has played a heart broken woman in a brilliant style. But the one who steals the show is the cute little baby!!! :) The entire story revolves around this cutie!
Being Saajid Khan's brainchild, it has some good comic scenes that revolve around the how-difficult-it-is-to-bring-up-a-baby concept. Great job there and great comic timing!!!
Hey did I mention... there'z a guest appearance also and it sure is a great treat for eyes!!! Its "THE SRK" at his best. Though he appears only in one song, his appearance is simply mind-blowing (Me bieng an SRK admirer!!! :D)
The songs are ordinary though... As it is, I have not yet come accross some great numbers after 'Life in a Metro'...
But in all, the movie was a great entertainer and I had some great time out!!!

It takes something....

Do you believe in yourself?
Yes... I do believe in myself... I have full faith in my capabilities. And in saying so I am not being overconfidant neither am I overestimating myself. Now the real question is... in this very context am I really able to acknowledge what others, for that matter, my loved ones have done for me? Let us take an example of "HE"
The other day I pointed out to HIM that HE is always surrounded by HIS pals who are ready to do anything for HIM. I thought that HE is very lucky to have such great friends around. But HIS answer completely flabbergasted me. HE said, "It takes something to make people come after you.." By saying this HE completely demeaned the love that all HIS loved ones have for HIM... I know that HE is a complete Self-Believer and a Go-Getter. HE makes it a point to get all that HE lays HIS hands on... Always is successful in whatever HE takes up. But then... is that really the reason why people seek him? The answer is... People desiring material gain might seek HIM for that reason. But pals wont. They seek HIM because they love HIM, they love him unconditionally. It does take "something" for them to follow HIM... to support HIM all through; and that "something" is "their love for HIM". So should this "something" be not acknowledged?

Factories!!!

For achieving SUCCESS, we need three factories in our body...
Ice-Factory in brain
Sugar-Factory in mouth
Coconut-Factory in heart!!!

Trying to follow this dictum for last a week or two... However being the being that I am, I know that having Ice-Factory in my brain is too far from achievable.... so right now concentrating on the Sugar-Factory concept.
The difficult part is to identify the subtle difference between being good and being sychophantic. You never know when you cross that line... The other day, I tried having a so-called sweet-mouthed conversation with my friend and all I ended up was he saying... "OK then tell me Rash, what's coming up next, what do you want?" ...hihihi
Guess.. will have to go slowly and stepwise to achieve this. For the time being, I am trying to avoid bad words... Think thts good enough.. :)

Feeling blue...

My Technical Orientation training got over yesterday... Finally the three-month long ordeal was over.. And now i was really looking forward to starting off with some cool work... But... but... but... My RM is on leave today... :(
Plus my mind's gone sooooo dumb that I can't even find a topic to pen down a blog for... sigh..!!!
One good thing for the day though.... I am now 2 KGs lighter... Now that gives me some encouragement for "Weight-Loss Program" :)

Harry Potter

Just finished off reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!! Yet another great book by J.K. Rowling!!!!
I have always been a Harry Potter fan... and I have always been enjoying the newer part more than the older one!!!! So obviously, The Deathly Hallows qualifies as my most favourite part out of the seven published.... The book has many twists and turns... and the plot is very intricately woven.... After reading first six parts, one tends to think that if Harry is one of the Horcruxes then he ought to die in the last book... With the same fear even I opened it and started reading... But as the story unravelled... it caught my immense interest... Especially the sudden depiction of Snape's goodness was surprising... A pleasant surprise though!!!
And as the end should be.... Harry emerges as the ultimate winner, marries Ginny and has three children two of whom he names after the names of Dumbledore and Snape.... An ideal fairy tale end!!! :)
Hey but I still wish that there should be more Harry Potter publications... I still want some more from J. K. Rowling so that the Harry Potter fanfare does not extinguish!!!!

Hyderabad...

Now that I am in Hyderabad for last about three months, I think I am authorised enough to have an opinion about the city. I belong to Nagpur, which incidentally is a twin city of Ajni. So I am not quite new to the twin cities concept... Hence when I talk about Hyderabad, it can be safely assumed that I am as well including Secunderabad in it.

I shifted to Hyderabad after I switched my job in the month of May. The initial adjustment part of it was really easy as I had a huge number of friends who had already settled here... Madhapur was the best option for me to settle in here, me being into IT. So the weekdays went into sloughing out and the weekends were meant for freaking out... Hyderebad offers you a whole lot of places to visit to... Eat Street, Prasadz, Central, Durgam Cheruvu, Char Minar, Golconda Fort and lotsa other eat-outs!!! :D Of these the place that impressed me the most was Durgam Cheruvu... beautiful, calm and serene... This one spot in the heart of Hitec City is a place where you can wear out your day's fatigue. Visiting this place for the first time... Icouldnt simply believe that such a beautiful pond existed right in between those concrete IT jungles! :P

Close second was Eat Street, because of the huge expanse of The Hussain Sagar! The lake is huge and is more beautified by The Buddha Statue right in between its waters and The Birla Temple besides it! Watching the whole najara at night is a real treat for eyes!!!

Me being a great lover of food... exploring eat-outs at Hyderabad was also fun. To name a few, Saahib-Sindh-Sultan, Zaffran and Ginger Court had a great taste in food; while Ohri's and Zaffran had great ambience. Hey.. Sahib-Sindh-Sultan was no less when it comes to ambience. The theme is a "Train"... a luxury train... :) So among eat-outs, the winner ultimately is... You-Know-Who.. ;) .. at least till the time I get to visit the Taj!!

Had been to the Charminaar side once... The chudi-bajaar was a great thing to experience. Never ever in my life have I seen bangles in sooo many different ornate forms and colours... that was one hell of an experience.. a little expensive on my pockets though... ;)

In all... the stay so far in Hyderabad has been pleasant.. though the plan is to leave the city soon coz of some further plans... But guess if given a chance, I'd definitely like to come back here to enjoy the grandeur of Nizam's city all the more!!!
